COLLECTING ITEMS

You can collect your item from the ATL or any Flinders Library Branch of your choice. Select your pick up location when you make your request.

Once we have retrieved the item from our shelves, you will be advised via email that the item is ready for you to collect from the hold shelf. Note that until we have retrieved the item from the shelf and you have received the notification email, it is still available for other users to borrow.

If you request an item on loan to another patron, as soon as it is returned and transferred to your pick up location, you will be advised via email that it is ready for you to collect from the hold shelf.

Items on the hold shelf are kept on hold for patrons for 4 days. If items are not collected within 4 days they are either made available to the next requesting patron or returned to the shelves.
